Gestern Abend hatte ich meinen ersten Auftritt mit meiner Band, und die Nervosität war fast unverständlich groß. Bevor wir endlich auf die Bühne gingen, hatten wir ewig geprobt, damit wir keine einzige Note auslassen. Ich fühlte mich so angespannt, als ob ich eine Rolle in einem spannenden Krimi spielte. Anscheinend hatte ich vor dem Konzert zu viel Angst vor Pech oder einer großen Enttäuschung. Mein Organ fühlte sich völlig trocken an, obwohl ich mich vorher gut um meine Stimme gekümmert hatte. Ich hörte bereits ein Echo vom Publikum und dann den ersten harten Beat unseres Drummers. Es war überraschend, dass ich plötzlich keine Angst mehr spürte, als die Musik endlich anfing. Der Moment auf der Bühne war für uns wie ein kleines Paradies. Selbst unser Komponist war am Ende sehr stolz auf unsere Leistung. Dieser Abend kam mir fast wie ein realistischer Traum vor.

Last night I had my first performance with my band, and the nervousness was almost incomprehensibly great. Before we finally went on stage, we had practiced for ages so that we wouldn't skip a single note. I felt so tense, as if I were playing a role in an exciting thriller. Apparently, before the concert, I had been too afraid of bad luck or a great disappointment. My voice felt completely dry, even though I had taken good care of my voice beforehand. I could already hear an echo from the audience and then the first hard beat from our drummer. It was surprising that I suddenly felt no more fear when the music finally started. The moment on stage was like a little paradise for us. Even our composer was very proud of our performance in the end. This evening felt almost like a realistic dream to me.
