Unser Schatzmeister verkündete neulich in der Sitzung, dass die finanzielle Stabilität des Vereins derzeit zwar gesichert sei, wir aber klug investieren müssten. Dennoch müssen wir uns mit der Tatsache konfrontieren, dass die aktuellen Kostüme eine dringende Erneuerung benötigen. Je prachtvoller wir die Kleidung gestalten, desto größer wird die Akzeptanz beim Publikum für dieses historische Stück sein. Wir sollten sowohl bei den hochwertigen Stoffen als auch bei den kleinen Details auf exklusiven Reichtum setzen, um die historische Parallele authentisch darzustellen. Es ist zwar umstritten, Gelder vom Marketing abzuziehen, aber ein teilweiser Verzicht auf Werbung wird die Inszenierung sicher nicht vernichten. Der Regisseur meinte, er könne der künstlerischen Vision nur nachkommen, wenn die Ausstattung absolut hochwertig sei. Er fügte hinzu, man müsse die verschiedenen Abteilungen nicht gegeneinander ausspielen, sondern jetzt klare Prioritäten setzen. Wir wollen unsere Schauspieler schließlich für renommierte Preise nominieren, was ohne die Schaffung einer beeindruckenden Atmosphäre unmöglich ist. Dear board members, I would like to submit a proposal today regarding the financing of our new production about the Romans. Our treasurer recently announced in the meeting that the financial stability of the association is currently secured, but that we must invest wisely. Nevertheless, we must confront the fact that the current costumes are in urgent need of renewal. The more magnificently we design the clothing, the greater the audience's acceptance of this historical piece will be. We should focus on exclusive richness in both the high-quality fabrics and the small details in order to represent the historical parallel authentically. Although it is controversial to withdraw funds from marketing, a partial waiver of advertising will certainly not destroy the production. The director said that he could only fulfill the artistic vision if the equipment were of absolute high quality. He added that one should not play the different departments against each other, but rather set clear priorities now. After all, we want to nominate our actors for prestigious awards, which is impossible without the creation of an impressive atmosphere. Before the next vote, we must clearly indicate in the budget how the funds are to be redistributed. It is our duty to use the budget wisely and not to abuse the trust of the members.
