Messungen durch ein unabhängig agierendes Büro belegen, dass die Lärmbelästigung landesweit geltende Grenzwerte überschreitet. Obwohl es sich um ein Premium-Modell handelt, scheint die technische Entwicklung für den globalen Markt hier nicht ausgereift zu sein. Wir fühlen uns fast so, als wäre dies eine Entführung unserer nächtlichen Ruhe, die unseren Freiraum im Garten zerstört. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit der lokalen Gewerkschaft fordern wir, dass Sie dieses Problem mit dem Hersteller im Silicon Valley absprechen. Zukünftige Projekte dieser neuen Ära sollten die betroffenen Bürger bereits ab der Gründung der Planungsphase einbeziehen. Im Gedenken an vergangene Versprechen hoffe ich, dass Ihre Ziele mit den Bedürfnissen der Anwohner übereinstimmen, wie es auch ein Bundesminister fordern würde. Wir verfügen über beunruhigende Protokolle, die beweisen, dass die Neon-Helligkeit zur Zerstörung des Insektenbestands beiträgt. Es kann nicht sein, dass wir für funktionierende Technik auf eine Art Entwicklungshilfe von Experten angewiesen sind.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to you regarding the installation of the new street lamps in our neighborhood. While we fundamentally welcome the renunciation of nuclear energy and the promotion of sustainable development, the current operation of these lamps is downright unbearable. The installed lights emit a piercing, whistling sound that massively disturbs the residents of the adjacent houses. This burdensome circumstance affects personal prosperity and quality of life to an unexpected extent. Measurements by an independently acting office prove that the noise pollution exceeds nationwide applicable limits. Although it is a premium model, technical development for the global market does not seem to be fully mature here. We feel almost as if this were a kidnapping of our nightly peace, which destroys our open space in the garden. In close cooperation with the local union, we demand that you coordinate this problem with the manufacturer in Silicon Valley. Future projects of this new era should involve the affected citizens more strongly right from the founding of the planning phase. In memory of past promises, I hope that your goals coincide with the needs of the residents, as a Federal Minister would also demand. We have disturbing protocols proving that the neon brightness contributes to the destruction of the insect population. It cannot be that we are dependent on a kind of development aid from experts for functioning technology.
