Sehr geehrter Herr Meyer, seit meinem Einzug in diese Immobilie vor drei Monaten bin ich mit der Lage eigentlich sehr zufrieden. Freilich muss ich heute ein ernstes Problem ansprechen, das meine Arbeit im Bereich Medien beinah unmöglich macht. Sowohl die Wände als auch die Decken sind derart dünn, dass jedes Geräusch aus dem Treppenhaus in meinen professionellen Aufnahmen zu hören ist. Je öfter ich versuche, einen Podcast live aufzunehmen, desto deutlicher wird dieses störende akustische Phänomen. Die Studioräume sind zwar offiziell als Arbeitsplatz vermietet, doch die Schalldämmung ist momentan in einem Zustand, der im Exposé als völlig falsch dargestellt wurde. Wenn ich versuche, eine überzeugende Darstellung für ein neues Remake zu verfilmen, ist der Lärm der Nachbarn eine absolute Sauerei. In meinem jetzigen Ressort ist die Tonqualität entscheidend, da wir unsere Projekte landesweit vermarkten. Die Fenster sind zwar fest geschlossen, aber die Außengeräusche sind dennoch kaum gefiltert. Es wirkt beinah zynisch, dass ich trotz der hohen Miete in der Anonymität des Internets nach technischen Lösungen suchen muss. Ich beziehe mich hiermit auf unseren Mietvertrag und bitte Sie, die Isolierung zeitnah zu verbessern. Ich möchte ungern einen öffentlichen Aufruf zur Mietminderung starten müssen. Über eine schnelle Rückmeldung bezüglich dieser Situation würde ich mich sehr freuen.

Dear Mr. Meyer, since moving into this property three months ago, I have actually been very satisfied with the location. Admittedly, I must address a serious problem today that makes my work in the media sector almost impossible. Both the walls and the ceilings are so thin that every noise from the stairwell can be heard in my professional recordings. The more often I try to record a podcast live, the clearer this disturbing acoustic phenomenon becomes. Although the studio rooms are officially rented out as a workspace, the soundproofing is currently in a state that was presented completely incorrectly in the exposé. When I try to film a convincing performance for a new remake, the noise from the neighbors is an absolute mess. In my current department, sound quality is crucial as we market our projects nationwide. Although the windows are tightly closed, the outside noises are still hardly filtered. It seems almost cynical that, despite the high rent, I have to search for technical solutions in the anonymity of the internet. I hereby refer to our rental agreement and ask you to improve the insulation promptly. I would prefer not to have to start a public appeal for a rent reduction. I would be very pleased to receive a quick response regarding this situation.
