Ich habe mich endlich für den Umzug in die Großstadt entschieden. Ich freue mich sehr auf mein neues Leben, aber ich fühle mich auch ein bisschen nervös. In meiner Kleinstadt ist es ruhig, aber dort gibt es so viele hohe Gebäude und Lärm. Wir müssen uns nächste Woche die neue Wohnung im zweiten Stockwerk ansehen. Mir tut der Abschied von meinem alten Einfamilienhaus ein bisschen weh. Es ist mir nicht egal, wo meine neue Anschrift ist, denn ich möchte gern in der Nähe von einem Schwimmbad wohnen. Am Küchentisch räume ich jetzt meine Sachen auf und packe alles ein.

I have finally decided to move to the big city. I am looking forward to my new life, but I also feel a bit nervous. In my small town it is quiet, but there there are so many tall buildings and noise. We have to look at the new apartment on the second floor next week. Saying goodbye to my old single-family house hurts a bit. It is not all the same to me where my new address is, because I would like to live near a swimming pool. At the kitchen table, I am now tidying up my things and packing everything.
