Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich möchte einen Vorfall melden, der sich heute Morgen ereignet hat. Ich war mit einem Ihrer E-Scooter auf dem Weg zu meinem Zielort, als ich plötzlich auf ein Problem stieß. Das Gerät wird normalerweise durch eine einfache Automatik gesteuert, aber die Fahrt wurde jäh unterbrochen. Auf dem Fahrstreifen wurde ein tiefes Schlagloch übersehen, da es leider überhaupt nicht markiert war. Ich bin mit dem Vorderreifen direkt in diese Falle gestoßen und dabei fast gestürzt. Allerdings wurde der Außenspiegel des Scooters bei dem harten Aufprall beschädigt. Die Regeln für den Autoverkehr gelten hier zwar, aber dieser Weg war für E-Scooter legal freigegeben. Es muss definitiv geprüft werden, ob die Reparaturkosten von Ihrer Versicherung übernommen werden. Der beschädigte Roller wurde von mir anschließend sicher in einer nahen Tiefgarage abgestellt. Ich hoffe, dass dieser Vorfall bald von einem Inspektor Ihrer Firma untersucht wird.

Dear Sir or Madam, I would like to report an incident that occurred this morning. I was on my way to my destination with one of your e-scooters when I suddenly encountered a problem. The device is normally controlled by a simple automatic system, but the journey was abruptly interrupted. A deep pothole was overlooked on the lane because it was unfortunately not marked at all. I hit this trap directly with the front tire and almost fell. However, the scooter's side mirror was damaged in the hard impact. Although the rules for road traffic apply here, this path was legally cleared for e-scooters. It definitely needs to be checked whether the repair costs will be covered by your insurance. The damaged scooter was then parked safely by me in a nearby underground garage. I hope that this incident will soon be investigated by an inspector from your company.
