Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren der Gemeinde, wir Bürger möchten heute gemeinsam über die Zukunft des Rathausplatzes diskutieren. Sogar die Ministerin für Umwelt hat das Ziel, solche Grünflächen in der Umgebung stärker zu fördern. Die Gestaltung des leeren Grundstücks ist eine großartige Chance, die Vielfalt des sozialen Lebens zu zeigen. Wir planen, dort einen lebendigen Garten für den persönlichen Gebrauch der Anwohner bereitzustellen. Trotzdem gibt es oft Konflikte, wenn man über die Nutzung des öffentlichen Raums spricht. Wir haben das Recht, einen aktiven Beitrag zur Verschönerung unseres Viertels zu leisten. Es wäre schade, diesen Plan einfach abzulehnen, um den Platz woanders für den Tourismus zu nutzen. Sogar ein Falke könnte in diesem geschützten Bereich ein neues Zuhause finden.

Dear ladies and gentlemen of the municipality, we citizens would like to discuss the future of the town hall square together today. Even the Minister of the Environment has the goal of promoting such green spaces in the surrounding area more strongly. The design of the empty plot of land is a great opportunity to show the diversity of social life. We plan to provide a lively garden there for the personal use of the residents. Nevertheless, conflicts often arise when talking about the use of public space. We have the right to make an active contribution to the beautification of our neighborhood. It would be a pity to simply reject this plan in order to use the space elsewhere for tourism. Even a falcon could find a new home in this protected area.
