Mein Freund Jonas berichtete mir neulich von seinem Aufenthalt in einer ehemaligen Burg, die nun als Hostel dient. Er erzählte, dass er dort während seines Urlaubs zeitweilig in einem Turmzimmer untergebracht gewesen sei. Rückblickend behauptete er, dass er schon beim Landeanflug auf die Stadt ein seltsames Gefühl gehabt habe. Er sagte, er sei prompt in der ersten Nacht aufgewacht, da er seltsame Geräusche aus dem Untergrund vernommen habe. Laut Jonas’ Schilderung sei es der Todestag eines langjährigen Schlossherrn aus einer früheren Epoche gewesen. Er sei daraufhin tief hinab in den Keller gelangt, um nachzusehen, ob er dort jemanden antreffen könne. Er gab an, dass er vorläufig seine Wertsachen an der Rezeption hinterlegen wolle, um das Gebäude fluchtartig zu verlassen. Die Rezeptionistin habe ihm jedoch versichert, dass solche Ängste bei einem Upgrade in die Suite meist entfallen würden. Er meinte, dass er bei seinem nächtlichen Streifzug durch die Gänge beinahe den Abstieg in die tieferen Gewölbe verpasst hätte. Jonas fügte hinzu, dass die derzeitige Situation vor Ort für Touristen zwar spannend, für ihn aber zu gruselig sei. Er sagte, dass er notfalls im Auto übernachtet hätte, falls er erneut eine Erscheinung gesehen hätte. Er schloss seinen Bericht damit ab, dass er voraussichtlich nie wieder eine solche Hochburg des Paranormalen besuchen werde.

My friend Jonas recently told me about his stay in a former castle that now serves as a hostel. He said that he had been temporarily accommodated in a tower room there during his vacation. Looking back, he claimed that he had already had a strange feeling during the landing approach to the city. He said he woke up promptly on the first night because he heard strange noises from the underground. According to Jonas's account, it was the anniversary of the death of a long-standing lord of the castle from an earlier era. He then went deep down into the cellar to see if he could find anyone there. He stated that he wanted to temporarily leave his valuables at the reception in order to leave the building hastily. However, the receptionist assured him that such fears would usually disappear with an upgrade to the suite. He mentioned that he had almost missed the descent into the deeper vaults during his nightly stroll through the corridors. Jonas added that the current situation on site was exciting for tourists but too creepy for him. He said that he would have spent the night in the car if necessary if he had seen an apparition again. He concluded his report by saying that he would probably never visit such a stronghold of the paranormal again.
