Sehr geehrter Herr Müller, ich schreibe Ihnen heute, um um Erlaubnis für einen kleinen Umbau auf meinem Balkon zu bitten. Es geht darum, ein spezielles Netz für Schwalben anzubringen, damit diese nicht versehentlich durch das vordere Fenster in das Foyer fliegen. Das Netz besteht aus einer dünnen Schnur, die für die Vögel zwar sichtbar ist, aber die Aussicht kaum stört. Ich beabsichtige, nur einen Bereich mittig abzudecken, damit ein freier Fluchtweg für andere Insekten bleibt. Da ich sehr von diesen Tieren schwärme, möchte ich verhindern, dass sie ihre Flügel an der Scheibe verletzen. Eine solche Lösung ist sehr preiswert und lässt sich einfach montieren, ohne einen Kredit aufnehmen zu müssen. Es ist mir ein großes Anliegen, die lokale Tierwelt zu hüten, da Schwalben hier leider immer seltener vorkommen. Das Netz wird direkt unter dem Rollo befestigt, damit es von außen fast unsichtbar bleibt. Ich würde mich sehr freuen, bald eine positive Nachricht von Ihnen zu erhalten.

Dear Mr. Müller, I am writing to you today to ask for permission for a small modification on my balcony. It is about installing a special net for swallows so that they do not accidentally fly through the front window into the foyer. The net consists of a thin cord, which is visible to the birds but hardly disturbs the view. I intend to cover only a central area so that a free escape route remains for other insects. Since I rave about these animals, I want to prevent them from injuring their wings on the glass. Such a solution is very inexpensive and can be easily installed without having to take out a loan. It is of great concern to me to guard the local wildlife, as swallows unfortunately occur here less and less frequently.
