Sehr geehrtes Team, mit diesem Schreiben möchte ich meine große Bereitschaft zur ehrenamtlichen Mitarbeit in Ihrem Tierheim ausdrücken. Die Pflege traumatisierter Katzen ist eine Aufgabe, die mich gedanklich schon lange beschäftigt. Es kann einen zutiefst schockieren, wenn man sieht, wie sehr manche Tiere den Kontakt zum Menschen meiden. In meiner bisherigen Tätigkeit habe ich viele scheue Katzen langsam an eine neue Umgebung gewöhnen können. Mein tiefes Mitgefühl hilft mir dabei, geduldig auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse jedes Tieres einzugehen. Eine wichtige Eigenschaft für diese Arbeit ist die Fähigkeit, ein etwaiges Fehlverhalten der Tiere niemals zu verurteilen. Ich bin restlos davon überzeugt, dass jedes Wesen durch positive Beeinflussung wieder Vertrauen fassen kann. Es erfordert oft viel Courage, sich auch schwierigen Fällen zu widmen, doch die Anerkennung durch ein schnurrendes Tier ist die schönste Belohnung. Bisher habe ich mich von keinem Rückschlag in der Therapie entmutigen lassen. Diese einmalige Chance, den Katzen den Weg in ein neues Zuhause zu ebnen, möchte ich unbedingt nutzen. Mein Handeln findet hoffentlich Anklang bei Ihrem Team. Über eine Einladung zu einem persönlichen Gespräch würde ich mich sehr freuen.

Dear team, with this letter, I would like to express my great willingness to volunteer at your animal shelter. The care of traumatized cats is a task that has occupied my thoughts for a long time. It can be deeply shocking to see how much some animals avoid contact with humans. In my previous work, I have been able to slowly acclimate many shy cats to a new environment. My deep compassion helps me to patiently attend to the individual needs of each animal. An important quality for this work is the ability never to judge any potential misconduct by the animals. I am completely convinced that every creature can regain trust through positive influence. It often requires a lot of courage to dedicate oneself to difficult cases, but the recognition from a purring animal is the most beautiful reward. So far, I have not let any setback in therapy discourage me. I definitely want to take this unique opportunity to pave the way for the cats into a new home. I hope my actions find resonance with your team. I would be very happy to receive an invitation for a personal interview.
