Letzten Monat bereiste ich die südwestlich gelegene Küste, um die Korallenriffe zu erkunden. Zuvor hatte ich mir ein neues, längliches Unterwassergehäuse für meine Kamera gekauft. Bevor ich ins Wasser sprang, hatte ich sorgfältig meinen Sonnenschutz aufgetragen. Alle anderen Urlauber schwärmten von der Schönheit der bunten Fische, die ich unbedingt auf Fotos einfangen wollte. Während des Tauchgangs spritzte jedoch plötzlich Salzwasser durch einen kleinen Riss in das Gehäuse. Ich bemerkte erst zu spät, dass die Dichtung an einer Stelle nachgegeben hatte. Mit meinem Taschenmesser versuchte ich später am Strand vorsichtig, das Gehäuse für eine Reinigung zu öffnen. Leider war die Technik bereits komplett zerstört, als die Sonne am Abend langsam am Horizont untergehen wollte. Ich hatte noch nie zuvor so einen ärgerlichen Defekt während einer Seefahrt oder eines Ausflugs erlebt. Deshalb bitte ich Sie hiermit um eine Prüfung meines Versicherungsfalls.

Last month I traveled to the southwest coast to explore the coral reefs. I had previously bought a new, oblong underwater housing for my camera. Before I jumped into the water, I had carefully applied my sun protection. All the other vacationers were raving about the beauty of the colorful fish, which I definitely wanted to capture in photos. During the dive, however, saltwater suddenly splashed into the housing through a small crack. I only noticed too late that the seal had given way in one spot. Later on the beach, I carefully tried to open the housing with my pocket knife for cleaning. Unfortunately, the electronics were already completely destroyed by the time the sun was slowly about to set on the horizon. I had never experienced such an annoying defect during a sea voyage or an excursion before. Therefore, I hereby ask you to review my insurance claim.
