Lieber Trainer, gestern passierte bei unserem Training ein unerwartetes Ereignis. Während des Laufs im Outdoor-Bereich stolperte mein Hund plötzlich über eine Hürde. Es kam in der Vergangenheit selten vor, dass er so unvorsichtig war. Die Pfote wurde sofort von mir gekühlt, da eine starke Schwellung sichtbar war. Danach wurde der Hund zum Tierarzt gebracht, wo auch sein Blutdruck gemessen wurde. Wegen der Verletzung ist er nun für einige Wochen inaktiv und hält meistens ein Nickerchen. Leider können wir deshalb nicht an der kommenden Meisterschaft teilnehmen. Ich wollte fragen, ob die Behandlungskosten von der Versicherung des Vereins übernommen werden. Muss ich für die Meldung online einen Button betätigen? Als Neuling im Club bin ich mir über den genauen Ablauf noch unsicher.

Dear trainer, an unexpected event happened during our training yesterday. During the run in the outdoor area, my dog suddenly tripped over a hurdle. In the past, it rarely occurred that he was so careless. The paw was immediately cooled by me since a strong swelling was visible. Afterwards, the dog was taken to the vet, where his blood pressure was also measured. Because of the injury, he is now inactive for a few weeks and mostly takes a nap. Unfortunately, we cannot participate in the upcoming championship because of this. I wanted to ask if the treatment costs will be covered by the club's insurance. Do I have to click a button online for the report? As a newcomer to the club, I am still unsure about the exact procedure.
