Ich habe große Angst, dass die Qualität des Tons durch die Reparatur verloren geht. Ein Bassist aus einem lokalen Quartett hat mich erst gestern auf diesen wunderbaren Ohrwurm-Klang angesprochen. Wann könnte das Cello in Ihrer Werkstatt begutachtet werden?

Dear Mr. Meyer, I am writing to you because I am seeking help for my old cello in your studio. A small crack was discovered in the body of the instrument, which worries me a lot. This cello is a true work of art to me and not just a simple tool. Because of the special emphasis on the low notes, I love this classic instrument very much. Can the crack be professionally repaired without the sound being changed? In the past, the instrument was often played by a well-known musician at concerts. I am very afraid that the quality of the tone will be lost through the repair. A bassist from a local quartet spoke to me just yesterday about this wonderful, catchy sound.
