Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich schreibe Ihnen, weil die Laterne vor meinem Haus kaputt ist. Es ist am Abend sehr dunkel, wenn ich aus der Tür rausgehe. Die Laterne steht direkt daneben an einem großen Baum aus Holz. Ich wohne in der ersten Etage und kann durch meine Fensterscheibe nichts sehen. Können Sie bitte einen Bauarbeiter schicken, um das Licht zu reparieren? Bitte geben Sie mir eine Info oder nehmen Sie Kontakt mit mir auf.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to you because the street light in front of my house is broken. It is very dark in the evening when I go out the door. The street light is located right next to it, by a large wooden tree. I live on the first floor and cannot see anything through my window pane. Can you please send a construction worker to repair the light? Please give me some information or contact me.
