Sehr geehrte Schulleitung, als Elternvertreter unserer Mittelschule schreibe ich Ihnen heute zum Thema Mittagessen. Viele Kinder finden das aktuelle Angebot in der Mensa gar nicht gesund. Wir brauchen nicht nur mehr frisches Gemüse, sondern auch bessere vegetarische Optionen in jeder Kategorie. Laut einer neuen Studie ist eine gesunde Ernährung für die tägliche Tätigkeit im Unterricht völlig entscheidend. Wir sollten das Menü erweitern, damit die Kinder sich an unterschiedliche Geschmacksrichtungen gewöhnen. Die Schule sollte hier ein Vorbild sein und zeigen, dass gesundes Essen nicht simpel oder langweilig sein muss. Übrigens sind viele dieser Produkte regional erhältlich und oft besser als in einer gewöhnlichen Gaststätte. Ich bitte Sie, unsere Vorschläge genau zu prüfen und uns bald Bescheid zu geben. Nun müssen wir uns gemeinsam neue Rezepte ausdenken, um die Qualität zu steigern.

Dear school management, as a parent representative of our middle school, I am writing to you today regarding the topic of lunch. Many children find the current selection in the cafeteria not healthy at all. We need not only more fresh vegetables but also better vegetarian options in every category. According to a new study, a healthy diet is completely crucial for daily activity in class. We should expand the menu so that the children get used to different flavors. The school should be a role model here and show that healthy food does not have to be simple or boring. Incidentally, many of these products are available regionally and are often better than in an ordinary restaurant. I ask you to examine our suggestions carefully and let us know soon. Now we must think of new recipes together to increase the quality.
