Der historische Roman beschrieb ein kleines Dorf, das tapfer gegen eine geheimnisvolle Krankheit kämpfte. Die Lage im Dorf war oft unvernünftig, doch die Bewohner gaben die Hoffnung nie auf. Ein talentierter Zeichner hielt die Ereignisse fest und nutzte dafür einen dunklen Farbton. Ein Medicus untersuchte eine Blutprobe der Kranken, um ein Heilmittel zu finden. Er glaubte fest daran, dass jedes Rätsel der Natur letztlich lösbar war. Viele Paare blieben in dieser schweren Zeit leider kinderlos, was die Gemeinschaft traurig machte. The historical novel described a small village that fought bravely against a mysterious illness. The situation in the village was often irrational, but the residents never gave up hope. A talented illustrator recorded the events and used a dark hue for it. A physician examined a blood sample from the sick to find a cure. He firmly believed that every mystery of nature was ultimately solvable. Many couples unfortunately remained childless during this difficult time, which made the community sad. In the evenings, people sat in the marketplace, which was covered with hard pebbles, and chatted quietly. The cure was not a quick own-goal of fate, but the result of hard work. When the plague finally disappeared, all the villagers began to applaud loudly. The book felt as vivid while reading as an exciting television program.
